NASA demo
The NASA demonstration searches for scientific studies gathered from around the world. Each study has:
  • latitude and longitude co-ordinates defining the bounding box of the study area
  • the time period covered by the study
  • A textual description of the study

UK sites demo
The UK sites demo consists of 250,000 UK websites that have been pinpointed by examining postcodes or town names in the web page text. Each web page is represented as a point.
This is not an up-to-date crawl so many of the external website links in the demo may be broken - maintaining an up-to-date index is not currently an objective.
The demo also includes a demonstration of the query-refinement feature that automatically suggests additional search terms based on initial results.
