About Inperspective
Background
Inperspective Technology Ltd is a solutions provider that has been born out of many years' commercial experience in developing large scale systems for blue-chip clients.
Mark Harwood, the company founder, has a long history as an IT consultant including the following roles:
  • Technical architect of Thomson Local's "Webfinder" service - the UK's first localised PPC search engine, now servicing 180 million requests per month
  • Technical architect for the Getmapping.com website - a complete aerial photographic record of the UK with over 1 terabyte of imagery
  • Contributor to the Apache foundation's open source search engine "Lucene"
  • Technical architect for BBC TV's graphical scheduling system
The SearchArea geo-search engine is Inperspective Technology's first product offering and has been in development since 2000.
